Troy's Brooke beats Barnett and Woodford as best-performing UK income manager over decade

Troy Asset Management's Francis Brooke has topped the list of leading UK income managers by total return over the last ten years, beating Mark Barnett and Neil Woodford, according to the latest annual Hargreaves Lansdown UK Equity Income report.

The report, which analyses the performance records of some of the longest serving active managers running UK income funds, has listed the top ten managers in the sector, ranked by total return and income generated. Hargreaves Lansdown found there is a high correlation between having a high fund ranking in terms of capital return and producing strong total returns.
