Senior fund manager exits Morningstar Wealth Management Solutions

Senior fund manager Ari Towli has left Morningstar Wealth Management Solutions, a little over a year after the firm's acquisition of Smart Investment Management, where he worked for almost a decade.

Towli announced his departure on LinkedIn yesterday (23 October) and Morningstar confirmed the move, with a spokesperson saying "we value Ari's contributions to the Morningstar Wealth team, and we wish him well on his next chapter". The fund manager had worked for almost ten years at Smart Investment Management, the fund management arm of Praemium International, before moving to Morningstar when it took over the firm in July 2022.
