The Spear's 500, a list of names and rankings of the top private client advisors, has been unveiled for another year, with key figures from the investment industry featuring in the top ten high-net-worth wealth managers list.
In top position is Alan and Gina Miller (pictured), founders of SCM Direct. Together, the pair also launched the True and Fair Campaign in 2012, following frustration with the lack of transparency in the industry. Since then, wealth managers have been forced to disclose their total costs of investing as a single number - and so will investment and pension fund management firms from January 2018 as part of legislation in MiFID II.
