Schroders/Lloyds onboarding complete in 'UK's largest asset transfer'

Migration of more than 320 portfolios

Schroders has completed the onboarding of £75bn of insurance and wealth-related assets from Scottish Widows and Lloyds, 18 months after it first announced the launch of its joint venture with Lloyds Bank – Schroders Personal Wealth.

The assets - which comprise more than 320 portfolios including Active Equity, Fixed Income and Multi Manager - were moved across in seven instalments between September 2019 and March 2020. Peter Harrison, group CEO at Schroders, described the onboarding of such a significant mandate as a "monumental achievement" for Schroders. "It is all the more significant that this has been completed on time and on target, despite the challenging conditions of recent weeks due to the Covid-19 situation," he said.
