Former Pioneer CEO joins Jupiter board

Also ex-CEO of Henderson for nine years

Jupiter Fund Management has appointed ex-Henderson and Pioneer CEO Roger Yates to the board as non-executive director, subject to FCA approval.

Yates has over 30 years' experience in the asset management industry having started his career in portfolio management. He was appointed CIO of Morgan Grenfell and Invesco during the 1990s before becoming CEO of Henderson in 1999, where he spent nine years before being replaced by current co-CEO Andrew Formica. He then joined Pioneer in 2010, again as CEO. After three years of leading Pioneer, he became non-executive chairman, which he stepped down from after Pioneer's merger with Amundi in July.
