OMGI named as top-selling fund group of 2017

Old Mutual Global Investors (OMGI) has been named as the top-selling fund house by net retail sales in 2017, reporting £3.4bn of inflows, according to the latest Pridham Report.

In the most recent report covering 2017 and Q4, OMGI saw the most sales over both periods - in the fourth quarter it had net retail sales of £1.2bn. Helen Pridham, editor of the Pridham Report, said the firm had seen a notable uptick in sales since Richard Buxton joined in 2013. OMGI ousted last year's top-selling firm Fidelity, which dropped out of the table.
