Novia is set to launch fractional dealing on its DFM service Copia Capital Management by the end of the year, offering better affordability and precision to ETF investors.
Fractional dealing allows investors to invest exact sums of money in ETFs through fractional units, rather than having to buy the whole unit. Being forced to buy a whole unit has previously created difficulties for retail investors who did not have enough money to purchase a whole share, or those preferring to invest fixed sums, such as £100.
