Moonfare head of UK and Ireland departs for private markets rival

Ed Cotton joins Troviq

Ed Cotton has joined Troviq Private Markets to help develop its presence in Europe, departing from Moonfare to take the role.

Cotton takes on a role as a managing director, focusing on business development across Europe for Troviq, which rebranded last October from Truffle. He joins from Moonfare, where he served as head of UK and Ireland, and helped establish the firm's UK subsidiary. Prior to this, Cotton held roles across Delio, Edmond de Rothschild and Barclays Wealth, along with brief spells at Santander Asset Management, Dalton Strategic Partnership, now part of Polar Capital, and Banco Banif, now part of the Santander Group.
