Manager duo steps down from abrdn Global Innovation Equity as part of reshuffle

Follows Andrew Brown’s departure

Donal Reynolds and Joanna McIntyre have stepped back from managing the Luxembourg-domiciled abrdn Global Innovation Equity fund.

The firm said Jamie O'Brien remains manager on the strategy following the departure of senior investment director Andrew Brown in July. Brown's portfolio management responsibilities have been absorbed by the existing team. abrdn to acquire £600m closed-end fund assets from First Trust Advisors Reynolds and McIntyre remain at the asset manager, with Reynolds being a named manager on abrdn's infrastructure equity fund and McIntyre working on the company's global and US sustainable funds.
