Jacob Rees-Mogg MP has left Somerset Capital Management, which he co-founded in 2007, following his appointment to a UK Government role this week.

Rees-Mogg, whose departure complies with the Minister's Code, was appointed as Leader of the House of Commons by Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
