Investec W&I alternatives head Summers to exit for CIO role at Omnis

Investec Wealth & Investment head of alternative investments Andrew Summers is set to leave the firm after nearly 18 years to join Omnis Investments as chief investment officer, subject to regulatory approval.

Summers took on his current role in May 2022, as the firm sought to build up its alternatives knowledge and expertise, and develop additional investment offerings in the area.  He also sits on the firm's investment committee and is part of the leadership team at the firm's investment and research office.
