Invesco Perpetual promotes Black to head trust distribution as Watkins retires

Henley-based asset manager Invesco Perpetual has appointed Nick Black as its head of investment trust distribution, following the retirement of Andrew Watkins earlier this month.

The group, which is responsible for 12 investment trusts including the £950m Perpetual Income and Growth IT managed by Mark Barnett (pictured), has promoted Black to take over the role effective immediately. He worked with former head of investment trust distribution Andrew Watkins since joining the team in 2012 but has worked at Invesco Perpetual since 2007.
