Henderson hires former SLI US equities head for global team

Henderson has hired Steve Weeple, former head of US equities at Standard Life Investments, as a portfolio manager.

Weeple will sit within the global growth equities team, which is led by Ian Warmerdam.  He will also work closely with the global emerging market equities team, led by Glen Finegan. Henderson sees £1.4bn retail outflows in Q1 but sentiment improving Prior to joining Henderson, Weeple worked at Standard Life Investments in Boston for seven years in various roles including director of equity research and head of US equities.
