GAM names co-manager for Luxury Brands strategy

Flavio Cereda has joined GAM as co-manager for the firm's Luxury Brands strategy, following Swetha Ramachandran’s departure at the end of August.

Cereda will now join the European equity funds team, led by Niall Gallagher, who has been running the strategy since Ramachandran's exit. Ramachandran, who joined Artemis in September, is set to manage a soon-to-be-launched consumer brands global equity strategy.  Prior to joining GAM, Cereda had been been the head of luxury goods research at Jefferies International since 2017.
