Former Odey Wealth investment director resurfaces at Waverton

Waverton Investment Management has hired ex-Odey Wealth investment director Alexander Cottrell as a portfolio manager.

Cottrell joined Odey Wealth in 2014 until Odey Asset Management and its former subsidiaries closed down in 2023, following a plethora of sexual misconduct allegations against Crispin Odey in June last year. At Odey WM, he specialised in running portfolios for professional investors, retail clients and entrepreneurs. Prior to joining Odey WM, he worked at CG Asset Management and Cazenove Capital Management.
