Former chair of Investment Association Skeoch knighted in New Year's Honours list

Former chair of the Investment Association Keith Skeoch has been included in the King’s New Year's Honours list for his services to the financial sector.

The former chair was knighted in the honours list, one of 19 to receive the title this year. Skeoch was the former CEO of Standard Life Aberdeen, which he joined in 1999 and chaired the UK government's ring-fencing and proprietary trading review. He stepped down from the IA board in September last year and was succeeded by Patrick Thomson.
