FCA to consult on amending regimes for alternative fund managers and retail funds

The Financial Conduct Authority has set out plans to consult on amending and re-evaluating the regimes governing alternative fund managers and retail funds next year, as well as reviewing the regulatory reporting regime in 2025.

Speaking at the Investment Association's annual dinner on Wednesday (11 October), chair Ashley Alder laid out the regulator's three main priorities for reform on the back of feedback received on its discussion paper for a post-Brexit UK asset management regime.
