Dimensional Fund Advisors has promoted head of research Savina Rizova to co-CIO, to work alongside co-CEO and CIO Gerard O’Reilly, effective from 1 February.
As co-CIOs, O'Reilly and Rizova will lead a team of more than 300 investment professionals across six countries. Moonfare head of UK and Ireland departs for private markets rival Rizova joined Dimensional in 2004 and has led the firm's research team since 2017. In her role as global head of research, Rizova implemented robust research in live portfolios with the investment team and worked closely with leading academics to collaborate on research and co-authoring papers.
