This year is shaping up as a positive one for absolute return strategies with the performance of the HFRX Global Hedge Fund index up 3.3% as at July 2021. This follows a strong 2020, with the same index up 6.8%. As a result, investor interest has remained strong, with multiple investor studies suggesting that hedge fund allocations are set to increase through this year.
