Commerzbank is set to unveil a commodities-focused investment vehicle as part of the bank's drive into the UK investment market.
The Commerzbank Commodities Strategy was officially launched in March and has since gathered €340m in assets. Now a Luxembourg UCITS version will be made available to the UK market, targeting multi-managers, fund of fund managers and discretionary investors in particular. Eugen Weinberg, global head of commodities research, will take an advisory role on the fund, while a team of three investment professionals – Thomas Timmermann, Stefan Dilthey and Christian Schenk – will be responsible for asset allocation.
