Wealth management firm Anderson Strathern Asset Management, headed up by Aberdeen AM's former distribution head John Brett, has made three senior hires from its fellow Scottish houses Aberdeen and Tcam AM in a bid to boost its position in the Scottish financial planning and investment advisory market.
The group, which is the wealth management arm of Scottish legal firm Anderson Strathern, made the appointments in the second half of 2017 as CEO Brett "looks to establish the firm at the head of the Scottish investment advisory market". Fiona Gillespie and Phillip Ross have both joined from Aberdeen Asset Management (now Standard Life Aberdeen) as senior investment managers.
